MOUNT MITCHELL, NC

Located about 90 minutes outside Asheville, North Carolina rises Mount Mitchell–at 6684 ft. it’s the tallest peak east of the Mississippi, it also boast a recorded crosswind of 178mph.

Getting these late dusk shots nearly caused me an unplanned sleepover inside the gated park… not to be denied, I raced down the mountain narrowly beating the 9pm lockout by about 10 minutes.
